ACST-2 Collaborators' Meeting 2011
The 2011 ACST-2 Collaborators' Meeting took place in the beautiful city of Oxford at St Anne's College. It began after lunch on Friday 30th September with a welcome from Richard Peto followed by an update of ACST-2 progress given by Professor Alison Halliday. The afternoon continued with some wonderfully informative talks by several guest speakers. We were then treated to a delicious Gala Dinner at which prizes were given to several of the day's speakers and also to some of our exceptional centres to thank them for their support. The meeting resumed on Saturday 1st October 2011 with some more presentations from invited speakers and included a discussion on top tips about how to identify patients and enrol them in the study. The meeting was attended by almost all of the 120 invited participants, representing 18 different countries involved in ACST-2.
It was a great programme and we were lucky to have some wonderful speakers - thank you to all of you for coming along and sharing your thoughts and ideas on ACST-2. For those of you who were unable to attend, the programme for the meeting can be found here.
