Research in NDS
The Department's research approach has always fostered innovative interdisciplinary research with academic surgeons working alongside Oxford's research scientists. Oxford's medical research platforms inform the clinical research agenda. It is here that medical innovations are incubated and delivered to patients. This synthesis of multidisciplinary academic research and medical practice is Oxford's unique strength.
A UK-wide process, incorporating the QAA Code of Practice for Research Degree Programmes and the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers, enables institutions to gain the European Commissions HR excellence in Research badge, acknowledging alignment with the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for their Recruitment.
