The Oxford Transplant Centre
The Oxford Transplant Centre opened in 1990 and was built with funds raised by charitable donation. It has a 12 bed dedicated ward for transplantation, an outpatient suite, the Tissue Typing Laboratory, the Pancreatic Islet Processing Facility and research laboratories. The Transplant Centre specialises in:
- Live donor renal transplantation
- Heart beating and non heart beating donor transplantation
- Kidney whole pancreas transplantation
- Pancreatic Islet Isolation
