The  Oxford-Wolfson-Marriott-Patel Scholarship is in partnership with Wolfson College, where the successful candidate will be placed, and will cover course fees at the Home/ROI level along with a stipend for living costs at the standard Research Council rate (£15,285 pa for 2020/21).

The award is made possible by a philanthropic legacy to Wolfson from the late Dr Francis Marriott and a donation from the University's Graduate Scholarship Matched Fund, along with an equal contribution from NDS. It is named in memory of Dr Nilay Patel, who was a Consultant Urological Surgeon and Senior Fellow in NDS before his sudden passing in 2014.

To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must apply by 8 January 2021. There is no separate application required for this award, and the successful candidate will be selected based on academic merit. When awarding the scholarship, preference will be given to applicants who have listed Wolfson as their first-choice College when two (or more) candidates are of equal academic merit.

Further information and how to apply can be found on the Wolfson College website.
