My research focuses on the application of machine learning to single cell cancer transcriptomic and genomic datasets. This allows new insights into cancer, with potential clinical implications. I am interested in a range of cancer types, including breast cancer, lung cancers and melanoma, and I am currently working on clinical studies in colorectal, myeloma, renal and bladder cancers.
I studied for a PhD in Bioinformatics at Imperial College, and worked as a postdoc at UCL. I was involved in human genome projects at the Sanger Institute, and since then I have been researching cancer at Barts Cancer Institute, Imperial College and Cancer Research UK.
