Split skin graft donor site dressings should be cheap, easy to apply and remove, reduce pain, provide a moist wound healing environment, be easy to care for and cause minimal interference in the patient's daily activities. Adhesive retention dressings seem to provide these features and are a new option for donor site dressings.
