Louise Stile

Personal Assistant to Professor Paul Johnson

I joined the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences in April 2021 as Personal Assistant to Professor Paul Johnson, Director of Oxford Islet Isolation and Islet Transplant Programmes and Professor of Paediatric Surgery, based at the Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism (OCDEM) at the Churchill Hospital.

In my role with Professor Johnson, I provide confidential support across his diary, engagements, finances, travel, ad hoc projects and organisation of courses; as well as offering administrative support to his research group.

My career history consists of Account Management or PA roles, and also my own swim school when my children were small. I joined the University of Oxford in 2015 and my experience across the last six years comes from short term PA roles with the Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET) and the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics (DPAG) and for the last four years, in Chemistry as PA to Professor Dame Carol Robinson.
