Support for staff and students with disabilities

NDS is committed to meeting the needs of our disabled staff and students. We endeavour to be proactive in considering these needs and to ensuring that the guiding principles of the University's Common Framework are upheld.

We have appointed both a Disability Lead and a Disability Coordinator. The department's Disability Lead is Emeritus Associate Professor Valentine Macaulay and the Disability Coordinator is Lisa Hughes.

If you have a disability, it is important that you let us know about it, so we provide you with appropriate support while you’re studying or working with us. We will then make every effort we can to make adjustments to accommodate your needs.
