Msc endovascular neurosurgery

Course Code: TM_NE1 (full time), TM_NE9P1 (part time)

This course is no longer offered for entry in 2017/18 or following years.

This course was open to registered medical practitioners (GMC) with previous experience in the clinical Neurosciences.

A central aim is to encourage students to relate to other clinical scientists and to understand the scientific principles underlying this field. It will be of value to those with a background in Neuroradiology, Neurosurgery or Neurology who are planning a career in academic or clinical Endovascular Neurological therapy.

Students are taught vascular neuroanatomy, interventional neuroradiology treatment techniques and the pathology of conditions amenable to these type of treatments. Candidates will be expected to have background training in Neuroradiology, Neurosurgery or Neurology. Teaching is both theoretical and practical and therefore places are restricted.

This is one of several courses in Interventional Neuroradiology organised by Professor James Byrne.
