Tissue Handling Technician - Prostate Cancer (S.P.A.C.E Study)

I am a Tissue Handling Technican in the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences, where I liaise with Professor Claire Verrill and Mr Alastair Lamb for the S.P.A.C.E. research project.

My role in this project is to facilliatate the end to end patient pathway for prosate cancer research, specifically to increase our knowledge of prostate cancer disease progression via the use of Spatial Transcriptomics. This is the study of the genetics of cancer of cells in their architectural location vs. the simple presence or absence of a tartgeted gene.

Previously, I have worked in Histopathology as a Biomedical Scientist at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
