RESPOND Programme Manager

Currently on maternity leave

I re-joined the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences as the RESPOND Programme Manager in September 2020.

The RESPOND Programme is a five-year programme which aims to use human factors science to improve response to deteriorating patients following emergency abdominal surgery. The work is happening in four stages, with an initial exploratory phase at three sites followed by a pilot feasibility study and a national step-wedged randomised controlled trial.

I have previously worked in SITU as Trial Manager for the UK TAVI Trial. Since then I have been a Trial Manager for early phase CTIMPs and non-clinical trials with the Diabetes Trials Unit in Oxford and the Bristol Trials Centre.
