As the DRC, I am responsible for the handling of research applications that require access to human tissue samples both on and offsite. This means working closely with the researchers and other colleagues in the department and the Trust to ensure the correct requirements and therefore preparations, handling and processing of such samples are carried out in accordance to appropriate protocols.
