Jim Palmer

UK TAVI Clinical Trial Co-ordinator

I am currently working as a Clinical Trial Co-ordinator for the UK TAVI study within SITU. UK TAVI is an NIHR HTA funded multicentre randomised controlled trial to assess the clinical effectiveness and cost-utility of TAVI compared with conventional surgical aortic valve replacement (AVR) in patients with severe symptomatic aortic stenosis at intermediate or high operative risk.

Prior to working at SITU, I worked as a Clinical Trials Administrator for Primary Care within the Cardiovascular and Renal Theme on the OxRen / NewKi study.

Before joining the University of Oxford in 2015, I worked for Oxford Health NHS Trust in the Informatics Department.
