Phoebe Tsou

Research Technician

I joined the Islet Isolation Laboratory in April 2018 as a research technician after completing an MRes in Human Tissue Repair at University College London. My role as a technician here supports the isolation of pancreatic islets from donated human pancreases, which are then transplanted into patients as a treatment for Type I Diabetes. I also support the group's research in optimising the isolation process, in order to improve the current yield of transplantable islets.
