Rebecca Miller

BSc, MSc

Research Technician

I joined the Islet Isolation as a Research Technician in March 2018. The focus of the group is to isolate Islets of Langerhans from donated human pancreases, which are subsequently transplanted into patients for the treatment of 'brittle' Type 1 Diabetes. During my time in this group, I will also be supporting the research being conducted, which focuses on improving the efficacy of the isolation process and producing better quality islets for transplant.

Before coming to Oxford, I have previously studied Biomedical Sciences with Physiology & Pharmacology BSc at Leeds Beckett University graduating in 2016, then studied Molecular Neuroscience MSc at the University of Bristol, graduating in February 2018.
