Sergei Maslau

QUOD National Data Manager

My role is to ensure the collection of good quality data, to provide analyses of the data, and to give access to the data for researchers.

The QUOD (Quality in Organ Donation) initiative aims to identify pathways of injury and repair in donors organs.  Information, including biological specimens, will be collected form consented donors.  We will analyse the specimens and the outcome of the organs following transplantation.  By doing this we will identify novel markers that can be used to predict the function and outcomes of transplantation, but also improve our understanding of the underlying pathways of donor organ injury.
