The symposium is an opportunity to find out more about CLAHRC Oxford’s programme of applied health and social care research and successes since its inception in 2014. Additionally, there will be:

  • ample time devoted to networking;
  • a panel discussion on sustainability and transformation in health and social care including Dr Shahed Ahmad, Medical director, NHS England South Central, and Prof Gary Ford, CBE, CEO of Oxford AHSN; and
  • a further talk from Professor John Powell (Consultant Clinical Adviser in the Centre for Health Technology Evaluation at NICE) on his vision of digital health in the UK.

Plenty of opportunity for networking is included throughout the day, as we are hoping to stimulate conversations and explore new collaborations, partnerships and directions for research that will help to improve future health and social care in the region."
