Welcome to the DRWF Human Islet Isolation Facility. Our facility is located within the Churchill Hospital in Oxford. We provide human islets for clinical transplantation and for a broad range of research projects. In addition, the isolation team and associated research group continue to investigate ways of improving the efficiency of islet isolation. This webpage provides information about our £1.2 million state of the art facility, as well as an introduction into our clinical and research islet provision. Finally, you can take a look at some of the innovative research that goes on within our group, which is aimed at improving human islet isolation and transplantation outcomes.
