Support from Oxford colleges
Matriculated students will be assigned to one of the Oxford colleges. Oxford colleges often have their own college-specific scholarships available for applicants. Each of the Oxford college websites can be found on the Admissions website, all of which will have their own Fees and Funding page that outlines college-specific scholarships.
There may come a time during your studies when you need help with course fees. Some start points:
For our matriculated MSc students currently on the course, the Oxford Assistance Fund is available to provide support in times of financial difficulty.
Each Oxford college also typically has a similar pot of money for financial hardship. An Exceptional Support Fund (ESF) is offered through the NHS. The ESF is intended to support those facing financial hardship during their studies and can provide up to 3,000 GBP in the form of a non-repayable grant.
If you are seeking funding for a discrete academic activity (rather than course fees), your college’s academic officer (or equivalent) can advise on college-specific funds for presentations, publications, travel and related activities.
