'So you think you're a trainer - prove it!' Setting Standards in Postgraduate Training

The annual colloquium is now in its eighth year and will be held at Pembroke College, Oxford. The seminar-style meeting is limited to fifty delegates to facilitate discussion, and is attended by consultants and senior colleagues all actively involved in medical education. The faculty are experts in their fields and this year will include Vicky Osgood, Education Lead for the GMC, and Derek Gallen, President of the Academy of Medical Educators. This year's theme - 'So you think you're a trainer - prove it!' Setting Standards in Postgraduate Training - reflects the GMC's emphasis on professionalisation of medical teaching.

Trainee doctors are invited to submit an abstract/poster for display at the event. All abstracts will be as oral presentations (10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions). More information can be found on the website www.oumef.org
