Helping surgeons when things go wrong
A conference examining the effect of adverse events on surgeons
Friday, 08 September 2017
Executive Business Centre, Bournemouth University
Things can go wrong in surgery, and dealing with the consequences of complications and errors is part and parcel of a surgeon’s life. This conference explores the impact that adverse events have on surgeons and explores how these effects can be ameliorated.
Presenters will share insights from their surgical careers and personal experiences, present the latest research in the area, and consider how better support and training can be provided for surgeons.
Practising surgeons are particularly welcome at this conference, as are all those with an interest in surgeons’ training and wellbeing.
