NDS Race Forum

A space where NDS staff and students can feel free and comfortable to speak openly

As part of Black History Month, we are hosting the NDS Race Forum, where we can discuss how racism affects members of staff and what kind of anti-racist steps they would like to see the department take.

The NDS Race Forum will be open to all non-line managers regardless of race and ethnicity.

We will be looking to discuss:

What racism looks like in our department
People’s experiences of racism (including experiences witnessing racism)
What barriers to progression exist for people of the global majority in our department
What we can do to eradicate racism in NDS.
