Biography

Ms Isabel TeoMs Isabel Teo, MBChB MSc FRCS(Plast) Hand Dip Surg (UK)

Isabel is a locum plastic surgery consultant with a specialist interest in hand and breast reconstructive surgery. She has completed her plastic surgery training in Scotland, during which she completed a Masters degree in surgical sciences at the University of Edinburgh. She then moved down south for a year long fellowship in breast and microsurgery in Chelmsford, and a further year long TIG fellowship in hand surgery here in Oxford. She is passionate about wide awake hand surgery, also known as WALANT (wide awake local anaesthetic no tourniquet). She has previously presented and published on this subject.
