Professor Dan Vigneron, the head of the Surbeck Laboratory for Advanced Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) will give a talk on their clinical studies using hyperpolarized MRI in cancer patients (especially prostate cancer patients).
The group at UCSF were the first to undertake clinical studies with hyperpolarized 13C MRI and they have made some great advances in the development of novel imaging approaches for 13C MRI.
