New research shows that BMP inhibitors are able to reverse the main untreatable symptom of multiple myeloma, a type of bone marrow cancer.

The research, led by Dr Sarah Gooding, is an equal collaboration between the groups of Professor Hal Drakesmith at the MRC Human Immunology Unit (Radcliffe Department of Medicine) and the group of Professor Claire Edwards at the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences and the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences.
