Peer Support

The Peer Support Programme was developed in recognition of the essential role students play in supporting and encouraging one another on a day-to-day basis throughout their time at university.

Helen Stark is a fully trained Peer Supporter within the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences (NDS) and is happy to provide support to other students. You can email Helen directly to arrange a meeting, coffee or walk etc. should you have any concerns that you don’t wish to discuss with your supervisor or Graduate Studies Team.

To speak to someone outside of NDS, please use the divisional Peer Support email address to confidentially contact the administration team (who would not need any details other than your email address/name) and they can put you in contact with a divisional supporter who is not part of your department.
