Associate Practitioner
In my role as Associate Practitioner within the Oxford Centre for Histopathology Research (OCHRe), I provide a high quality, comprehensive and professional service to support the processing of clinical trial requests through the OCHRe team in the department. I am required to liaise with hospital clinicians, other health care professionals and external agencies in line with OCHRe policies.
I have a degree in biology. In 2019, I worked in the Cellular Pathology Laboratory at John Radcliffe Hospital and I gained experience in different activities related to processing tissue, embedding and assisting pathologists. Working in OCHRe has been a complementary and rewarding experience now that I help to process samples for research purposes in clinical trials.
