Postdoctoral Data Scientist/Bioinformatician

My research focuses on developing novel data science (particularly machine learning) methods for analysing multi-omic datasets, particularly with regards to prostate cancer. I am funded by the Pan Prostate Cancer Group (PPCG).

I’m interested in how we can use cutting-edge numerical methods to extract real-world insights from datasets, and how we can apply those methods “translationally” to inform everyday decisions.

I grew up in the South West of the UK, before moving to London for my undergraduate in Physics at Imperial College London. I finished my PhD at Imperial in 2023 in numerical modelling in plasma physics (the study of ionised gases).

After my PhD, I worked as a Data Scientist (real-world evidence) at the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency before starting at the NDS in January 2025.
