Ruth Devaraj

Project Manager

I joined the University in 2022 as executive assistant to Professor Chris Lavy OBE and administrator for the Oxford University Global Surgery Group where I continue to run their annual short course.

In 2023 I joined the Health Economics Research Group as project manager and executive assistant to Professor Rafael Pinedo-Villanueva.

I am now working as project manager on an NIHR Global health grant in reducing paediatric morbidity and mortality from traumatic injury in Tanzania and Zimbabwe.

I am passionate about cross-cultural collaboration, and have lived and worked overseas for most of my adult life. My previous roles have been in primary and secondary education and charity administrative work in India.

I have a Bachelors degree in Divinity from Heythrop College, University of London.
