Fadi leads the Translational Research Immunology Group (TRIG), where his research focuses on developing cell therapies to improve outcomes in transplantation, with the aim of reducing reliance on long-term immunosuppression. He has worked on major clinical trials, including the largest regulatory T cell therapy study in transplantation, and is working on next-generation therapies such as antigen-specific Tregs and universal Tregs.
Fadi’s work spans transplantation immunology, immunotherapy development, biomarker discovery, and advanced tissue analysis. He collaborates widely with colleagues across disciplines to advance transplantation science. He also serves as Executive Editor of Transplantation and is a Steering Committee member of the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies.
All members of the University and NHS clinical staff are welcome.
