Ethical approval
QUANTUM Biobank is sponsored by the University of Oxford and funded by The John Black Foundation.
In keeping with other forms of research involving patients, all biobanks have to obtain ethical approval from a Research Ethics Committee or REC. The ethical approval for QUANTUM was provided by the North of Scotland REC REC 22/NS/0004 on 15 February 2022.
