  • The Restore-B study recruited women who were chosen to have a mastectomy with immediate implant based pre-pectoral breast reconstruction (over the muscle).
  • Women were randomly allocated to have mesh or no-mesh in their operation.
  • We asked the participants to complete a questionnaire before and after surgery, and a post-operative diary of their recovery.
  • Participants could choose to have an optional interview with a researcher in addition.
