Assistant Surgical Course Administrator and ENT Course Administrator
My function is to provide Administrative Support to the Oxford Medical Students on behalf of Oxford University.
I started working for the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences in 2003 as the ENT Course Administrator, for year 5 (2nd year clinical) students. This involves arranging all the teaching on the ENT course. I work closely with both academic and clinical colleagues, in particular Mr James Ramsden. I work in the ENT Department one day a week.
In February 2007, I also began working in the Surgical Course Administrator's Office for three days a week. I work alongside Lucy Tipping and Professor Ashok Handa. I assist with the smooth running of the 4th (1st year clinical) and 6th year (2nd year clinical) course as well as arranging the Year 4 Combined Topics in Surgery and Medicine Course and the Year 6 Revision Course, which takes place prior to the students sitting their 2nd BM Examination.
