Lazarina Engonidou

UK TAVI Clinical Data Manager

I joined the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences in May 2016 and I am the Data Manager of UK TAVI. The UK TAVI trial is a multi-centre randomised controlled trial to assess the clinical effectiveness and cost-utility of TAVI compared with conventional surgical aortic valve replacement, in patients with severe symptomatic aortic stenosis, who are at intermediate or high operative risk.

Prior to that I worked for the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as an Information Analyst and as a Data Analyst for a Retail Audit Research company. My jobs there involved data analysis, database management, design and support, reporting and data quality assurance.

I hold a BSc in Computer Science and an MSc in Communication and Computer Networks.
