Surgical Course Administrator

I joined NDS in January 2014, after working in Graduate Studies in the MPLS Division for five years.

As Surgical Course Administrator, I am responsible for the organisation of surgical teaching for medical students which takes place in Years 4 & 6 of the degree programme.  I arrange all compulsory teaching, tutor groups and the assignment of students to the various surgical firms as well as the fourth year OSCE examinations and the surgical aspect of the sixth year Second BM Finals exam.

I work alongside the Assistant Surgical Course Administrator, Jackie Heap, and the Clinical Tutor in Surgery, Professor Ashok Handa.  I liaise with clinicians and University staff to ensure the smooth delivery of the course.
