NDS researcher Dimitrios Doultsinos is preparing to run the Athens Authentic Marathon and the Royal Parks Half in support of CRIS Cancer Foundation.

Dimitrios and Danielle after their previous half marathon
Dimitrios and Danielle

I am running the Royal Parks Half on 13 October with my partner Danielle and then the Athens Authentic Marathon on 10 November in aid of CRIS Cancer. Having lost family to cancer and having close family currently suffering from cancer this cause is very close to our hearts. As cancer researchers we see first hand how important the input of CRIS Cancer is to patients with very limited choices.

CRIS Cancer is an international charity that funds research into pioneering new cancer treatments to give the best chance of survival to patients who do not respond to conventional treatments. By stepping in where there are gaps in funding, as well as collaborating and building alliances worldwide with top research institutions, CRIS Cancer supports research scientists to speed up innovative therapies – bringing hope to thousands of cancer patients.

Any donations would be massively appreciated and are crucial to combat cancer!

Please donate via my fundraising page.
