I am excited to be running the Oxford Half Marathon next weekend, on Sunday, 13 October, raising funds for Alzheimer’s Society.
I signed up to the Oxford Half back in February, looking for a new challenge and something to motivate me to get moving. Having only just run my second 10k last Friday, 21k is still a pretty intimidating distance but I'm hoping that the adrenaline on the day, as well as the money raised for a worthy cause, will fuel me on when it comes down to it!
I’m proud to be running in support of Alzheimer’s Society. This incredible charity is working tirelessly to create a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They are there to provide vital support and services to those living with dementia today, while also funding groundbreaking research to create hope for a better future. My race is dedicated to the people affected by dementia and the amazing work that Alzheimer’s Society is doing to improve their lives.
