Skills Training
The Medical Science Division offers students opportunities for training, whether it is compulsory to their course or tailored to individual needs. Each term a programme is released which outlines the training on offer. It is recommended that each student spends at least 10 days a year on graduate skills training.
All students are expected to complete the research integrity and avoiding plagiarism courses in their first term of study.

TRAINING NEEDS ASSESSMENT
Students can use the facility within the Graduate Supervision Reporting (GSR) to complete their Training Needs Assessment It is recommended that students work with their supervisor to update their CV with their skills training, and planning for future training opportunities.
MEDICAL SCIENCES SKILLS TRAINING
Medical Science Divisional skills training offers a number of online courses ranging from avoiding plagiarism to entrepreneurship. A list of the online courses can be found on the MSD Skills website.

OTHER SKILLS TRAINING RESOURCES
The IT Learning Centre has an extensive programme of digital skills courses available to book, as well as an online collection of courses and resources (also called Molly) including through LinkedIn Learning and the IT Learning Portfolio.
