The annual awards celebrate outstanding contributions to OCTRU's work over the past year, with SITU NDS staff receiving recognition across several award categories for excellence in clinical trial delivery, management and research.

The 'Trial of the Year' award was presented to the PART trial. Congratulations to the trial team: Associate Professor Richard Bryant, Jo Cook, Amy Taylor, Aimi Hewitt and Roxanne Williams. Jo Cook also received the 'Trial Manager of the Year' award in recognition of her outstanding leadership and contribution to the PART trial.

Laura Lloyd Jones was highly commended in the 'Special Recognition for Trial(s) Contribution category', recognising her significant contribution to OCTRU-supported trials.

The MACRO team received the 'Publication of the Year' award for their results paper, The clinical effectiveness of clarithromycin versus endoscopic sinus surgery for adults with chronic rhinosinusitis with and without nasal polyps (MACRO): a pragmatic, multicentre, three-arm, randomised, placebo-controlled phase 4 trial. Congratulations to the team, including Stephen Jones and Amy Taylor.

The TRANSLATE team received a 'Publication of the Year Commendation' for their paper, Local anaesthetic transperineal biopsy versus transrectal prostate biopsy in prostate cancer detection (TRANSLATE): a multicentre, randomised, controlled trial. Congratulations to the team, including Associate Professor Richard Bryant, Professor Freddie Hamdy CBE and Roxanne Williams.

Congratulations to everyone recognised for these well-deserved achievements, which reflect the strength and impact of clinical trials research across SITU NDS.
