Amy Taylor

FUTURE-GB Trial Manager

I am currently the Clinical Trial Manger for the FUTURE-GB trial (Functional and Ultrasound Guided Resection of Glioblastoma), in SITU (NDS) taking on this role in July 2020. FUTURE-GB is a 2-Stage trial. The first stage is an IDEAL Stage 2b cohort study. Stage 2 is a prospective, multicentre randomised controlled trial, to investigate if additional imaging use before and during brain tumour surgery can improve outcomes for patients.

Prior to this, I worked in SITU (NDORMS) as a Clinical Trial Manager for NINJA - a large paediatric plastic surgery trial, and also on the feasibility study, SPINOUT-F. Previously I have been a research coordinator on a large vascular study in NDS, and before that, worked in behavioural neuroscience research for 13 years across various University departments. I gained my MSc (Res) from the University of Oxford looking at the role of excitatory amino acid receptor subtypes in hippocampal-dependent learning and memory.
