Henk Giele and Richard Bryant have both been conferred the title of full professor at the University of Oxford in this year’s exercise for Recognition of Distinction.

Henk Giele - Professor of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery

Professor Giele said: 'It is a great honour to be recognised as Professor of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, and it is all thanks to the faith and belief of my patients, the unwavering support and tolerance of my clinical and research colleagues, and the assistance and encouragement of the department and my family. I am excited for the future as I am hopeful this will spur on even greater advances.'
