Old Road Campus Research Building

Oxford Open Doors logoCome to Oxford University's Old Road Campus to learn about the amazing science taking place in two of these buildings as part of the Oxford Open Doors scheme run by the Oxford Preservation Trust.

The ORCRB, housing NDS, the Ludwig Institute, the Jenner Institute, the Department of OncologyOxford Cancer, the Pandemic Sciences Institute and the Centre for Immuno-Oncology will be offering information and activities relating to the research done within the building. We are also looking forward to hosting researchers from the neighbouring Centre for Medicine Discovery team.

The Institute of Developmental and Regenerative Medicine (IDRM) are also opening their doors for the first time in their new building, so make sure to find time to go and explore the research done in such a wonderful new site!

The Quality in Organ Donation (QUOD) team at NDS will be hosting a family friendly activity designed to show the public the work that they carry out to facilitate research in organ donation and transplantation. Activities will include apple biopsies, an interactive life-sized torso, various children's educational activities and a tombola.

Throughout the day there will be talks from our scientists to the public.

There will be hot and cold refreshments available during the afternoon and the building is accessible.
