Biography

Mr Radu MihaiMr Radu Mihai has been a Consultant in Oxford since 2007 and is currently the President Elect of British Association of Endocrine and Thyroid Surgeons (BAETS). 

He has been a very active presence in activities of the European Society of Endocrine Surgeons as member of the Exec Committee (2012-2021), as an examiner for the European Diploma in Endocrine Surgery (2007-) and as author of several European guidelines for management of endocrine tumours.

His last intervention at Grand Round entitled 'The devaluation of paper money' commented on the conflict between the drive to maintain publication output and the expectations/restrictions of a NHS contract.
