Biographies

Eileen Morrow

Eileen Morrow is an NIHR Doctoral Clinical Academic Research Fellow and clinical academic orthotist, specialising in paediatric orthopaedics. She is in the final stages of her DPhil at the University of Oxford, where her research focuses on the development of a core outcome set for children undergoing elective lower limb orthopaedic surgery (the CELLOS study). Eileen has over ten years of orthotics clinical experience across paediatric orthopaedics, gait analysis and neurological rehabilitation.

 

Tim Theologis

 

Tim Theologis is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Oxford University and an honorary Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Oxford University Hospitals. He has been looking after children and adults with orthopaedic conditions, including developmental dysplasia of the hip, musculoskeletal tumours, neuromuscular disorders and cerebral palsy. He is involved in the supervision of postgraduate degrees and the training of orthopaedic residents. He has an active academic interest, leading multi-centre clinical research studies in children’s orthopaedics and holding NIHR research grants. He is Emeritus Editor in Chief for Gait and Posture. He was a Board member of the British Society for Children’s Orthopaedic Surgery between 2009-2021 and its President between 2018-2020.

The Chief Medical Officer has confirmed that attendance at the Surgical Grand Rounds can count toward internal CPD, with 1 point awarded per hour. Please note that in-person attendance is required, and you will need to sign the attendance register.
