‘Magnetic guidance in cancer surgery’

Biography

Michael DouekProfessor Michael Douek is a breast surgeon with an interest in breast cancer surgery and breast reconstruction.

He is professor of surgical oncology at King’s College London and honorary consultant surgeon at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

He was awarded a prestigious Hunterian Professorship by the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2015.

 

The lecture will be chaired by Professor Freddie Hamdy, Head of Department at the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences. 

All members of the University and NHS clinical staff are welcome.
