OUGSG members run OX5 for Oxford Children's Hospital

Two of our Oxford University Global Surgery Group (OUGSG) members, Professor Chris Lavy and Dr Shobhana Nagraj, completed the OX5 Run on Sunday 20 March 2022 for the Children’s Centre at the John Radcliffe Hospital.

Between them they have raised over £1,000 so far for the Oxford Children's Hospital, which looks after thousands of children from across the county and beyond.

The OX5 Run is an annual five mile fun run around the grounds of Blenheim Palace.

As well as joining a team of examiners, members from the Oxford University Global Surgery Group ran the BAPS HG neonatal skills course, a research seminar, and a point of care ultrasound course during their trip from 29 November to 8 December 2024.
