Jo Cook, Research Nurse on Professor Taggart's ART trial, was presented with the medal at this year's Royal Society of Cardiothoracic Surgeons' annual meeting in Brighton for her presentation on "The Patient, The GP, The Primary Care Team; their relationship, adherence to treatment and the implications for research". Jo was awarded with her medal at the 2014 Forum in Brighton after her winning both the Cardiothoracic Forum Best Paper and first prize in the poster competition at the 2013 meeting.
