In this review, Louisa analysed the disparity in mortality rates for infants with intestinal atresia between lower income countries and higher income countries.

For this work, Louisa received a merit from Oxford Medical School. Louisa is working on publishing this review and hopes to complete further projects with Professor Lakhoo, investigating globally under-studied neonatal surgical conditions.
