I oversee all medical students that rotate through the plastic surgery department as part of their medical school rotation. This includes 4th, 5th, and 6th Years. As surgical educator, I aim to teach principles of surgery and plastic surgery in clinic and theatre settings. I aim to maximise their exposure to the specialty, offer teaching and support, an offer insight into a career in plastic surgery.

I also oversee local/national and international elective students interested in plastic surgery who wish to spend some time in the department to further their understanding and skills.

As part of the senior surgical faculty, I am also on the Surgical Teaching Committee.

I support the OxPRAS (Oxford Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Society) which is an Oxford University based Society which sets out to bring interested students together who share a passion/interest in plastic surgery.
