Global Surgery Course
This five-day course looks at the provision of surgical services at a global level, encompassing all related specialties including obstetrics, gynaecology and anaesthesia/critical care.
We offer a one-to-two-year Master’s by Research in Global Surgery and a DPhil in Global Surgery within the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences. The Oxford University Global Surgery Group is led by Professor Kokila Lakhoo with Professor Ashok Handa and Mr Noel Peter as co-leads. All areas of surgery are accommodated by the group within a global surgery context. This is a very active group with a good number of research students and weekly group meetings. Contact any of the group leads (listed above) for further information with your research and clinical interests.
